Tensoplast Elastic Adhesive Plaster 2.5cmx4.5m Single Roll

Product Code: D4329
Tensoplast Elastic Adhesive Plaster is a plain-woven, beige-coloured compressive strapping tape. It can be used for soft tissue injuries, joint stabilisation, posture improvement and elasto-compressive treatment in phlebology. Easy to unwind with a lengthwise stretch, it can be adapted to suit the patients. It is not suitable for use on patients with a known intolerance to latex or colophony.
Key Benefits
Effective compression and support for soft-tissue injuries - this tape helps to stabilise injured muscles, ligaments or joints, reducing unwanted movement that could result in the injury becoming worse.
Elastic, lengthwise stretchability - being able to stretch along its length means that this tape can conform to the user’s body contours and permit natural movement with maintaining support.
Plain woven structure and adaptability - being plain woven makes the Tensoplast Elastic Adhesive plaster strong but flexible. It’s easy to unwind and tailor to different body part and patient profiles.
Can be used in a variety of therapeutic settings - it’s useful for taping injuries, joint stabilisation, posture correction and elasto-compressive treatment in phlebology.
Compact, practical dimensions - this 2.5cm x 4.5m roll gives a long length suitable for multiple applications, while the narrow width makes it suitable for limb areas, joints or localized taping without bulk.
Durability and secure adhesion - the inclusion of dry, natural rubber latex allows the tape to adhere reliably and resist peeling under tension. However, it does mean that this product is not suitable for those with a latex sensitivity.
Ease of handling and application - this tape is easy to unwind and adapt to various needs, which aids in faster and cleaner application, especially in a first sports setting.
Broad utility across clinical and sports use - whether in first aid kits, physiotherapy clinics, sports teams or rehabilitation use, this elastic tape has great versatility.
The Various Uses of Tensoplast Elastic Adhesive Plaster
Soft tissue and joint support - ideal for treating sprains and strains as the support reduces swelling.
Sports injuries - commonly used in sports medicine to manage injuries such as muscle tears, tendon strains, and joint sprains, providing stability and preventing further damage during physical activity.
Post surgical support - utilized for immobilizing body parts after surgical procedures, especially in areas like the chest and abdomen, to aid in recovery and prevent strain on healing tissues.
Compression therapy - effective in the treatment of varicose veins and leg ulcers, Tensoplast applies gentle pressure to improve circulation and reduce symptoms associated with these conditions.
Elasto-compress therapy - in phlebology, Tensoplast is used for elasto-compressive treatment, applying controlled compression to manage conditions like chronic venous insufficiency.
Wound dressing retention - secures primary dressings and splints, especially over irregularly shaped areas, ensuring they stay in place and provide continuous protection.
